About Katie

I'd describe my personality as fun, kind, and warm. I like working with kids because it's fun and rewarding. I make sure they feel comfortable and like a friend rather than just a job. It's rewarding to see the kids I work with get excited to see me as if it's a play date with a friend rather than a babysitter. I'm looking for a job that is stable and not a one time job. I'd like to find a family to build a connection with and continue babysitting for them regularly. I started working with kids when I was 14 years old. I baby sat after school for a teacher at my high school who needed someone to watch his 1-year-old son. I babysat for the family for about a year and a half. Since then I worked with special needs kids in school and baby sat for older kids aswell. In my spare time, I like to hangout by the pool or beach. I also enjoy skiing and going for walks. One thing you should know about me is I'm very neat. I love to clean and include tidying up as part of my job as a sitter.
