About Katie

Hello! I am newer to the area. I moved here about 3 years ago to start a nonprofit. While that is my main focus, I am looking for part-time work. It is important to me that the work I do is meaningful and impactful. While earning my degree in Recreational Therapy, I volunteered at a local senior living community in Bloomington, Indiana. I was supervised by a CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist). I engaged with residents and helped lead recreational activities to address memory, social skills, fine motor skills, etc. I also have work experience with companion care, assisting with light housekeeping and keeping company.
