About Katie

Hello! I am a professional nanny with 15+ years of experience serving many families in the Greater Portland Area. I have cared for children of all ages, birth-13yrs. Aside from my experience as a nanny, I am a mom to two girls ages 17 & 14. From 2014 to 2020, I taught as a Certified Music Together Teacher for Music Together of Greater Portland, serving hundreds of families. I studied Early Childhood Education at SMCC and hold an Early Childhood Education certificate. In August 2020, I resigned from my 12-year position as Music and Arts Director at South Portland Church of the Nazarene and currently serve as music director at FBC Westbrook. I have been working PT on and off as a temp nanny for a handful of families since August of 2021. I am looking to help a family 1-2 days a week (M/W/F- needing flexibility), in more of a household manager or assistant capacity. This would include meal prep, laundry, dishes, light house keeping duties, organizing and grocery shopping.
