Bringing joy and comfort to seniors is my calling. As a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, I advocate for holistic wellness. I am a 2023 College graduate with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation and Pre-Occupational Therapy. My five years of experience in assisted living and memory care allows me to provide compassionate and empathetic care. I am patient, calm, friendly, and approachable. I create a comfortable environment and build strong connections. I handle confusion, agitation, and behavioral changes. I de-escalate stressful situations and redirect attention. I incorporate memory care activities and sensory engagement into care. I provide transportation, run errands, shop, prepare meals, and do light housekeeping.
