I have 21 years of experience as a Nanny for seven families (18 kids). Babysitting many more. I am the oldest of six kids to whom child care comes naturally. Mom to a 19 yr old. Auntie to many. I have taken care of children from newborn and older. I am loving, creative, nurturing and a child at heart. I believe all these things make me a great nanny. I believe strongly in the importance of childhood, the encouragement of imagination and creativity. I love art projects and reading to kids. I am a big believer in schedule and consistency.

Katie is the best! My daughter immediately took to her and talks about her all the time! She is so much more than a babysitter or a nanny. She is also an educator. She puts so much effort into letter of the day and color of the day and teaching manners. She is also a great resource for a new mom. She has so much knowledge and she always shares it in a kind and positive way. She truly is the best caregiver I’ve ever met!

It is so difficult to search out childcare in general, let alone GOOD childcare. Katie, isn’t just good at her job, she is superb. She is a person I trust to not only care for my daughter, but to go beyond each and every time they’re together to show her she cares. She instills a sense of imagination that is unparalleled. She allows children to play, learn, and grow while also providing top notch attention to detail. One thing I deeply appreciate about Katie is her communication. She always informs me on my daughter’s routine activities, checks in and respects my preferences, and shares the little moments I am missing throughout the day. Just spectacular!! Highly recommend!!!

Katie was hired knowing that she was going to be taken care of medical babies. There was an issue with a medication error on her first day. I had never left the household. She was having issues with not knowing how to draw it up. Never once did she ask me, text me or my husband for help. Never confessed about the error until I asked about. And then stated she wasn’t cut out for this. Would not recommend if having a medical baby. Really left me high and dry for the summer. Otherwise very nice. 

Katie was with our family for almost 4 years. Initially we hired Katie during the Covid years in fears that our school aged children would fall behind in their studies, what we ended up getting was not only an amazing nanny but a member of the family. She gave me piece of mind that I could go to work and that my children not only were cared for in the best possible way, but that they experienced the childhood I always wanted for them. She took the mom guilt out of things for me and gave my children the best 4 years ever! She's a super nanny! Between going to parks, pools and even museums my kids had endless fun! Katie is also INCREDIBLY creative and made their dreams come a reality. The joy she brought to my 3 children is something I will always be grateful for. Katie is truly a one-of-kind person and made all of our lives so much easier. We had the pleasure of hiring Ms. Katie back in 2016. Our 3rd baby was a preemie who had some slight issues at birth and from the first day we met her, we knew she was the one. During the Interview my other kids were climbing all over her as she talked with me, she held my Lil preemie and wanted to know everything. Needless to say she got the job, and we fell in love with her. She was always there when we needed, went above and beyond and was extremely  helpful with tasks, carpooling,  little extras that weren't  necessarily  part of her job. She became part of the family very quickly. We celebrated holiday's,  birthdays and many fun seasons together.she always kept the kids entertained with her bags of tricks and toys and was exceptional at being creative and using imagination with the kids to their particular  interests.  She was with us over 4 yrs. The only regret is my kids grew up and we no longer needed her. A true Mary Poppins. Ms. Katie will always be family and a friend...

Katie watched our kids full time for 5 years. She was a literal Mary Poppins who kept our kids entertained and full of adventures. She is made to be a nanny and we highly recommend!

Katie is phenomenal.  Not only did she bring a new tote of toys to delight the kids each day, before I left for work each morning, she would ask me 'what can I do to help you today?'  Is there a sweeter, kinder question in the world?  It always started my day of well.  I took her up on that offer most mornings.  She wrapped Christmas gifts, made me lunches for work, did the grocery shopping, all while doting on the kids.  She is ah-maxing!

Katie is a gem! Articulate, loving, playful, gentle, dependable, clean. She brings bins of toys to keep things fresh for the kids, sews her own doll clothes, and has not forgotten how to talk to children.  My kids were safe and happy in her care, and she was truly my right hand woman!  You don't need to hesitate with this decision, she continues to be a person I admire and I was sad when my kids grew too old to need her care!
