COVID-19 vaccinated

Hello, shortly before COVID my grandparents reached the stage where they could no longer care for themselves without help. We were not able at the time to move them to an assisted living situation so my mom and aunts and I took turns caring for them. I spent 3 full days a week minimum helping them dress, bathe, and prepare food. I helped with house chores and just spent time talking with them. It was a wonderful time, they had so much to share. My grandma was experiencing some mild dementia so I learned also how to make her feel safe and comfortable and understood. I also experienced losing my father in law to Alzheimer's so I am understanding about the challenges that come with that terrible disease. I am young, 45, and strong and I am dedicated to safety. I feel that it is so important to listen to the people I care for and hear what they are asking for and what they need. They are also a treasure trove of life experiences and advice and wisdom.

Katie is dedicated and passionate and takes her work very seriously. She has a long history of working with kids, seniors and pets professionally and personally and is always patient, understanding, and kind. She always makes sure that things get done in a way that works and in a timely manner. She is flexible and easy to work with and overall makes a great addition to any team.
