About Katie

Hello, my name is Katie! I recently moved back home to New Mexico and I am looking to find a new family to work with. I absolutely love children and was previously going to school for pediatric nursing. I worked at UNM hospital in the intermediate care nursery as a tech for a year and a half. Most recently I worked for 2 boys (1&3) for about 8 months before moving here. I have had other long term babysitting experience for a family with a young child and we had lots of fun going on excursions and adventures. I have also worked long term during COVID and helped with remote learning for 2 children who have special needs. I have done many short time nannying jobs as well. I spent many hours volunteering in my mom's classroom and I worked at a children's camp as a counselor for two years so I'm very good working with multiple children. I love planning structured, engaging and fun activities for the kids! I am CPR and first aid certified and have my own transportation as well.
