About Katie

I'd describe my personality as nurturing, bubbly, and compassionate. I like working with kids because it is a natural job for me. I'm looking for a job that is on a consistent basis and flexible with my school schedule (evenings Monday & Wednesday). I started working with kids at age 16. I worked as a daycare worker and nanny till I was 19 - from age 19-21 I was a flight attendant during that time and stopped nannying. Then started nannying again from ages 21-28. Stopped nannying to start my own business and now getting back into nannying because I decided to go back to school to get my masters in mental health counseling. In my spare time, I like to garden, knit, paint, read, and watch TLC reality tv shows. One thing you should know about me is I work as if I'm part of the family. I like to say "I'm a wife to the wife."
