About Katie

Hi! I'm Katie, an incoming University of Florida freshman who will be completing my coursework online, giving me a flexible schedule and the ability to commute throughout the Orlando area. With a wide-open summer and flexibility during the school year, I'm excited to help families with their childcare needs. I have experience caring for children through family and volunteer experiences, including spending time with my 7-year-old younger brother. As a younger caregiver, I bring a balance of being fun, energetic, and easy for kids to connect with while still prioritizing responsibility and safety. I'm comfortable helping with homework, preparing meals and snacks, playing games, reading stories, doing crafts, and keeping children engaged in age-appropriate activities. I am also CPR and First Aid certified and have volunteer experience in a hospital setting. My goal is to create a safe, positive environment where children can have fun and parents can have peace of mind.
