I'm married with two boys, one of whom is autistic. My husband is in law enforcement and coaches select baseball. I have a BA in Journalism/English and I am a certified Language arts and reading teacher in the state of Texas. Prior to teaching, I cared for an exchange student, nannied and worked at a local church office and in vacation Bible school where I taught kindergartners for 7 years. Before working part time, I worked in organizational development and healthcare for five years. In college, I was a nanny through an agency for a family where I took care of infant twins and an 8-year-old, so I have experience with multiples and children of different ages. I have personal and professional experience with special education students, children with autism and adhd, as well as gifted children. I currently work out of my home. I am looking for a family where it is expected that I take care and love your family like they are my own. $20-35/hr depending on needs or full day fees available.

Katrina is punctual, responsible, respectful and completely trustworthy. She is very hands on with the kids, and to this day my daughter still laughs when she talks about her. You will never find her using the television to entertain your kids while you are gone. Katrina will do anything you ask of her and then some. Katrina is well mannered, very well educated, and takes even better care of my home than I do! Katrina will not leave you in the lurch or cancel last minute for personal reasons. She is very serious about her responsibilities and understands a parents' need for high quality care. If I lived in the same town as Katrina, I would be hiring her in a heart beat. She is worth every penny.
