I am an ASL Interpreter with a huge heart for the Deaf elderly community. I have spent the last 11 years off and on as a caregiver for adults with special needs, providing companionship, any and all physical care needs, and transportation to and from medical appointments as well as leisure activities. I have also been very involved in caring for my aging neighbor with Alzheimer's disease. I enjoy spending time with her, assisting in increasing her quality of life as she struggles with the beginning stages of this disease. Additionally, I have spent time volunteering in nursing homes, playing games with the Deaf residents, and enjoying their company. I am passionate about caring for and spreading joy to those around me.
