About Katrina

Hello! I graduated with a BA in psychology. I've been working with kids for as long as I remember and it is by far the most rewarding job out there. I have years of experience working with kids in nature and teaching them about gardening, animals, plant life, sustainability, etc. I loved working as a teacher at an environmental education center. More recently, I've been working with adolescents with diverse needs and diagnoses such as ASD, ADHD, DMDD, PTSD, OCD, MDD, anxiety, trauma history, etc. Although it may be challenging at times, I love what I do! In my spare time, I like to read, play with my dog, paint, and hike! One thing you should know about me is I have a 1-year-old puppy who I'm obsessed with! I also recently received a TEFL Certificate (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). My skills include great communication, healthy boundaries, and Spanish.
