About Katy

I moved to Happy Valley in January of 2016 and have been nannying for a friend since that time. Before moving here from Texas I was a director of a child care center for 5 years, a prek teacher for 4. 5 years and a nanny for a family with 5 kids for approx. 16 years. I love working with kids and helping them grow and develop not only academically but also emotionally and socially. I am very energetic, engaging, and love to provide enriching activities for the kids in my care. I like to incorporate games and art projects and am not afraid to get messy. (But don't worry, I also clean up the mess!) I can also provide meal prep for the kids in my care and light house cleaning. I hope to find a family here that I can build a long-term relationship with that will become like family, much like the family from Texas that I nannied for. :-)
