About Kayla

Hi, I'm Kayla! I've been caring for children for four years, and helping kids feel safe, happy, and understood is what I love most about it. I'm patient and calm, and I try to meet each child where they are, whether that's a little one who needs extra comfort or an older kid who just wants someone to listen. When big feelings come up, I stay gentle and help them work through it. I love bringing a little creativity into the day. I'm into art, sewing, cooking, and yoga, so we might do an arts and crafts project, make a snack together, or stretch and wind down before bed. I'm just as happy playing outside, doing puzzles, or helping with homework. I follow your lead on household rules and routines, and I'm always glad to help with meals, light tidying, and [driving/pickups].
