About Kayla

Hi there! I am a former elementary school teacher, forever student, dreamer, reflector, and joy infuser. I have a bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development with a minor in Psychology. I hold a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I've taught preschool, transitional kindergarten, 2nd grade, 4th grade and have substitute taught all grades up to middle school. I was nominated for Teacher of the Year twice and a finalist as Orange County Top Teacher. I am in progress of getting my massage license and opening my own business. I absolutely love teaching; however, the demands and expectations with the lack of quality support has run my energy reserves almost dry. I am extremely excited to use my education, experiences and passions to be present and loving with your family. I enjoy practicing yoga, reading, gardening, playing soccer, spending quality time with friends and family and dancing! Being silly and taking big breaths when life feels hard. Much Love! :)
