About Kayla

I loved watching kids when I would babysit or help out at my church. I've watched newborns up to pre-teen and connect well after spending a little time with each child. I have been a preschool teacher at a KinderCare for a little over a year before I got a nanny position that I was hoping for. I love helping young children develop their emotional skills and their independence. It's so important for them to feel safe because otherwise they wouldn't learn much of anything!! Watching them feel empowered to do things on their own is rewarding to me. I love going on walks!!! Especially when the weather is nice and above freezing I will be trying to get outside as much as possible. I also love dogs. I currently have a black lab mix and have in the past had two golden retrievers and a husky. All as family pets. I love how each pet has their own personality and they're so much fun to play with!
