I have always loved caring for children and growing up was always referred to as the "motherly type." I have babysat since my preteen years, and began my professional childcare adventure in 2010 just out of college. I love getting to play a role in the development and growth of the children I care for, watching them learn and experience new things brings me so much joy! I enjoy playing outside & going to parks and playgrounds. I also like planning indoor activities and crafts when the weather is bad. In my spare time I like to read, cook, craft, and go to the beach! I have worked at multiple family day cares as well as at a larger daycare center working with ages 6 weeks - 9 years. I have nannied for several families on both a short and long term basis with children ranging it age from newborn - 5 years. I am currently a nanny for a 5-year-old, a 3-year-old & a 1-year-old Monday - Thursday and am open to filling my Fridays with another family who needs care!

Kayla was a wonderful addition to our family for 4.5 months. She worked as a nanny for 3-4 days a week for 3 toddler and preschool aged girls. Kayla was very loving towards the children, and the children looked forward to playing with her. She drove the children to preschool, daily activities, prepared their food, and took care of all the children's needs without too much direction from the parents. She even helped with laundry and cleaning up without being asked, which was super helpful for this busy family. We could always depend on her to provide a fun day and provide lots of communication to the parents about how the children were doing. I highly recommend her for a nanny or babysitting position!
