About Kayla

Hello! My name is Kayla and I am a licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B). I have practiced as an EMT for 3. 5 years at a private ambulance company. I am also a licensed CPR/BLS instructor. I am currently still employed as an on the road EMT, so my availability is limited. However, I am willing to transition to a full time caregiver for the right person/family! I have experience providing care to individuals of all ages and demographics (disabled, mentally ill, terminally ill, hospice care, developmental delays, etc.). I am capable of heavy lifting. I am also willing to do further specialized training for your needs. My skills offered include but are not limited to: taking vitals (blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation levels, temperature, and blood sugar), assessing individuals and recognizing any needs or emergencies, providing first aid and emergency medical care, heavy lifting, patient mobility assistance, assisting with dressing/undressing, and bathroom assistance.
