About Kayla

I'd describe my personality as generous, patient, and respectful. I like working with kids because I can positively influence development and help teach important skills I'm looking for a job that I can make a connection and friendship with children. I started working with kids when I was 7 years old. I cared for all 3 of my younger siblings from when they were born, up until the eldest turned 11 years old. They are all a year apart, and we had a single mom who worked full time and overnights, so I was all they had. It was difficult, but I enjoyed caring for them. I think it made me a better person in some ways. In my spare time, I like to read, watch television, play with my dog, and go on walks. One thing you should know about me is I'm a student at Winona State University. I'm studying psychology, and I am currently at home and looking for work for the summer before I return. My skills include decision-making, communication, and planning/organization.
