About Kayla

Hi! I'm Kayla, a 28-year-old caregiver with 13+ years of experience supporting newborns, toddlers, teens, and adults with special needs. I've worked as a live-in nanny, babysitter, tutor, mentor, and most recently as a wilderness therapy guide. I love incorporating mindfulness, and emotional awareness into my care, creating grounded, nurturing spaces for kids to thrive. I value compassion, direct communication, and holding space for all emotions with patience and presence. Play and fun are just as important to me as structure and safety, and I honor each family's unique rhythms, values, and boundaries. I love cooking nourishing meals, supporting with homework, and encouraging creativity and curiosity.
