About Keirsten
Experience: 10 yrs
Hi there! I'm Keirsten. While I am new to this app, I am not new to childcare! I have over a decade of experience caring for young people - six years working professionally as a teacher in a school and in outdoor education, and many years before that working as a nanny/babysitter. I also hold a Masters degree in Education, have been CPR and Wilderness First Aid certified, and have worked with children of all ages from 4-14. My philosophy when working with kids is exploratory, inquisitive, collaborative, and of course, boundaried and safe. I would love to chat about your childcare needs and if I might be the right fit! Other good-to-know facts: -I have my own vehicle -I can (and actually love) to cook! -I am an outdoor enthuiast, and love to go on walking and biking adventures -I adore animals, and am happy to care for yours too Looking forward to be in touch!
