I've been caring for elders for as long as I can remember starting with my grandparents. I have worked as a home health aid caring for seniors in their homes. I enjoy helping with activities of daily living and I am able to help transfer and I'm comfortable with some medical equipment hoyer lift etc.. I'm also comfortable with the death and dying process and have experience sitting with folks and helping them and their families in that process. I am also comfortable doing companion care but do enjoy staying busy lighthouse work etc. I am self motivated, interesting and friendly and can discuss a wide range of subjects most older folks enjoy my company.
