About Keith

I'd describe my personality as patient, empathetic, and supportive. I like caring for seniors because I have been doing it since the age of 12, mostly by volunteering in nursing homes or facilities for those afflicted with dementia. Currently, I attend to my 91-year-old parent. I have found that empathy is the most important trait in serving seniors well. I'm looking for a job in which I can perform tasks that the senior might no longer feel comfortable doing. Examples would be shopping or driving, as well as managing medication. In addition, I can carry or move items that may be heavy for a senior. I started caring for seniors when I was 12 years old. In my spare time, I like to be a father to my twin 2-year-old daughters and visit my mother and brother, both of whom are in nursing homes. One thing you should know about me is that I also have a part-time teaching job at a community college. My skills include driving, managing medication, ability to handle shopping.
