I knew from the age of 8 that I wanted to be a teacher! I grew up in a large family (6 kids) and have I have 3 children of my own. Needless to say, I'm very comfortable around children! :) I have 10 years elementary teaching experience with grades 2-5. I have attended workshops to advance my skills, especially in Math, Science, and Reading! It's very fulfilling to have a career that I've wanted since I was very young! When my children were younger, I worked in a church as a Preschool Childcare Coordinator so they could go to work with me. In that position, I managed childcare workers for ages birth-10 as well as planned the curriculum and activities for various events such as Parents Night Out, MOPS, Summer Fun Sessions, and VBS. I am very creative and I have a strong interest in bringing art, music, and games into my lessons. I believe it's the best way to engage children.

If this was a one word review, that word would be: AMAZING!!! Kelley has been a lifesaver for us since school shifted to virtual for our 6 year old. She has the patience of a saint and my child has actually thrived as a result instead of being negatively impacted by the current virtual school environment. Her teaching experience, creativity and genuine love for learning is infectious. Not only would I trust her educating and tutoring my child, but she has become a very important person in our daughter's life. I cannot recommend Kelley enough - any family looking for support (especially in an educational context) would need to look no further.
