About Kelly

I am a stay-at-home mom to one child, who until recently worked full-time as a respiratory therapist at two local hospitals. I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies and worked as a nanny/child care provider while obtaining my bachelors degree and completing my respiratory program. In my child care experience, I have primarily worked with infants through preschool aged children, both in-home and in a daycare environment. However I would welcome the opportunity to work with older children as well. Within the healthcare field I have worked with patients of all ages with health concerns ranging from acute illness to chronic disorders as well as those with brain and spinal cord injuries. My husband and I live in the Highland neighborhood of Northwest Denver with our 3-month-old daughter. I love being a full-time mom, but I am used to staying quite busy, so I am excited about the possibility of taking on a part-time position caring for one or two additional children for a handful of hours each week in our home. I am CPR certified, drive a vehicle that seats up to seven (plenty of room for another car seat/booster seat or two) and love to stay busy. We have a membership at the botanic gardens, as well as the zoo and love to hike and take walks/bike rides around the neighborhood. I am seeking a family that is interested in finding part time care of one or two children. Ideally, a slightly older child (2. 5+ years) would be preferable, but I am open to the possibility of a younger child if the situation is just right. I would care for your child(ren) at our child-friendly home in the Highlands and this would include some sort of fun adventure each day, whether that be a trip to the zoo, working on a garden or a walk down to the library for story hour, all depending on your child(ren)'s age and interests.
