About Kelly

It is honestly hard to put into words how much Kelly has meant to our family over the past nearly 4 years! We were incredibly lucky to have her come into our lives when our oldest son was just 6 months old, and she was with us through so many stages of his childhood. When our second son came along, she loved and cared for him so deeply too. Watching the bond she built with both of our boys has been one of the most special parts of having her in our lives. Kelly was never “just our nanny.” She became someone we trusted completely and someone our children genuinely loved. There is a very specific kind of peace that comes from leaving your children with someone and knowing, without hesitation, that they are safe, happy, loved, and being cared for the way you would want them to be. Kelly gave us that peace every single day. She is so loyal, trusting, and definitely a baby and toddler whisperer! She has such a natural and tender way with children. She is patient, nurturing, playful, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful. One example is how gently she cared for our boys when they were sick. She was so attentive to every little thing they needed, whether they were having a difficult day, weren’t feeling well, or simply needed some extra comfort. As a parent, knowing that someone is going to care for your child with that kind of tenderness when you can’t be there yourself is invaluable. Kelly also put so much thought into helping our boys learn, develop, and flourish from the very beginning. She read to them constantly, did crafts and activities that encouraged creativity and fine motor skills, played with them, got them plenty of fresh air, and found ways to make everyday moments opportunities to learn and explore. She paid attention to their individual interests and personalities and encouraged them as they grew. She wasn’t simply keeping them busy—she was actively helping them become confident, curious, capable little people. She also knew all of their favorite foods and took the time to prepare breakfasts, lunches, and snacks she knew they would enjoy, while still encouraging them to try and experience new things! She knew their meal and nap routines by heart, their personalities, their favorite books and activities, what would make them laugh, and what would comfort them when they were having a tough moment or overall day. They absolutely adore her! And somehow, while giving our boys so much attention and care, Kelly was also meticulous about our home. She kept their laundry beautifully organized and taken care of, kept their toys and play spaces tidy, and always left the house clean and picked up. She took pride in caring for our home as well as our children, which made an enormous difference in our day-to-day lives as 2 full-time working parents. Coming home to happy, well-cared-for children and a tidy house was something we never took for granted. It was immensely helpful! What I will always appreciate most is that Kelly cared about all of the little things. She helped them achieve various milestones (crawling, walking, and speech, just to name a few) and helped them, encouraged their interests, read SO many books, sat and played on the floor with them, and helped them work on new skills. She was there for all of the ordinary moments that, looking back, were actually some of the most important ones. Not only was she there to watch our boys grew, she genuinely helped them grow in more ways than one. And beyond all of that, Kelly is just a genuinely wonderful person! She brought so much warmth into our home and became someone we cared about deeply. Our boys, now 4 and 1.5, light up immensely when they see her or hear her voice! I hope another family has the opportunity to experience what we did with Kelly. She will care for your children with patience, love, tenderness, and genuine investment. She will get to know them, celebrate them, teach them, comfort them, and care about their growth as if they were her own. She will also treat your home with the same respect and care that she gives your children. We feel incredibly fortunate that Kelly was part of our children’s early years, and we will always be grateful for everything she gave our family. I would recommend her without hesitation to any family looking for a loving, trustworthy, dependable, and truly exceptional caregiver.
