About Kelsey

I'd describe my personality as calm, playful, and warm. I like working with kids because of the way they experience the world, finding new unexplored things around them daily. It's an honor to be the safe grown up beside them while they get to know the world around them. I'm looking for a job that will be consistent, allowing a relationship to grow with your family while providing stability for my family. I started working with kids when I found myself needing to get back in the workforce after being a SAHM and asked myself, what am I good at and truly enjoy? The best answer was childcare. In my spare time, I like reading, cooking, hiking, watching baseball, and swimming. One thing you should know about me is I do not lean on screen time, preferring other creative outlets like doing art, reading books together, telling stories, etc. My skills include RIE parenting, baby wearing, having a no nonsense approach to boundaries, focusing on outdoor activities and education.
