About Kelsey

I first discovered my passion for caring for people when I was 16 and started working at a nursing home. I loved being able to interact with residents while going about with my daily work. I worked in the activities department, planning parties and activities for the residents. We would play games, watch movies, and talk. I excelled at giving comfort to residents who suffered from confusion and dementia. I have had experience working as a personal care assistant for an elderly woman. I managed her medications, took her to doctor's appointments, helped her with exercise and cooked her meals. I also assisted with bathing and dressing as well as housekeeping. I am a very empathetic person, and feel a deep connection with every client that I care for. I find this line of work to be very rewarding, and I would love the opportunity to continue with it.
