About Kendra

I began caring for children professionally in 1993 at the age of 18. I was a nanny for a nurse and her military husband for one year. They had twin 5-year-old boys and a 3-year-old daughter. I am still in contact with the family today. I left that job to join the Air Force in 1994. In 1996, I left the military to care for my newborn daughter. This started my 10 years of being a stay at home mother of two. At age 30 I decided it was time to go back to college and I graduated in June of 2011 from Wright State University with a bachelor's degree in middle childhood education. My own children are now 20 and 25 and are both honors college students. I currently work at a nursing home as an Administrative Assistant. I am ready to get back to what I do best, caring for others.
