About Kendrea

I have extensive experience in the healthcare industry, working various capacities to support both patients and medical staff. During my time at UPMC, I worked in the emergency room and on the neurology unit, where I assisted nurses with their daily tasks. I provided care for patients with dementia, helping them with their daily activities such as bathing, eating, and walking. I also supported nurses by performing blood draws and maintaining daily charting for each patient on Microsoft Excel. Additionally, I have experience working at Biolife, where I assisted patients in donating plasma. My responsibilities included performing venipuncture for each patient, setting up the donation machines, and managing a color section with up to six beds. I carefully monitored patients for any adverse reactions and ensured that each donation was successful. My diverse experience in both emergency and routine care settings has equipped me with a broad skill set and a deep commitment to patient care.
