About Keona

Hello Parents, A little background on me and my experience is I was hired and worked for the city's park and recreation for 14 years where I became the supervisor for the after school program. During my employment with the city, I also worked as an inclusion specialist for a charter school. That position was considered a teacher's position in the classroom. I was employed with them for 7 years. Due to health complications, I took a medical leave from both positions. During covid lock down, virtual school, I opened my own business where I was an educational support person to assist families with online schooling and give the students the support they needed during this change. Once the students were able to go back to on campus school, I was hired as a one on one for students with disabilities and has worked there until this current school year.
