My nickname was little mother. I started as a mother's helper when I was 11 and babysitting at 12. I worked at Apple Dumpling Play School when I was in high school then when Brookhaven Lab opened a day care, I worked there with all ages infant through 5 years. I then got an offer to work as a children's counselor on a cruise ship. In 1996, I had my first child and stayed home with her and also watched my sister's son. In between, I was licensed as an aesthetician and worked in Christopher Jon Salon. Then in 2001, I had twins and enjoyed every minute home with them. When they went to Pre- K, I started watching my friends' 3-month-old son until he was 3 years old. He is now going to school and my kids are all in school. I love being around children and would love to put my energy into watching your child during the day.

I’m so happy I found Kerrie! As a first time parent it was so stressful finding someone to watch my son, especially at someone else’s home. When I met Kerrie I knew I was making the right decision. She loves what she does and it shows. She’s patient, kind and a great communicator. She’s been watching my son since 1yrs old and she’s helped him reach key milestones. She’s even helping with potty training. I have nothing but positive things to say about Kerrie and my experience under her care! 

Kerrie has been babysitting my 2 1/2 year old daughter since she was 6 months old both in her home during the day and at our home for night time babysitting. 
My daughter gets so excited when she knows she is seeing Ms Kerrie! She treats your child like her own: always playing, reading, and teaching my daughter. Kerrie is such a kind and caring person. Knowing my child is safe and loved is very comforting to me. I would recommend Kerrie to anyone. 

Kerrie has cared for my children from 3 months old to their toddler years. She is kind, trustworthy, patient and an excellent communicator. Under her care my children have flourished— reaching milestones like crawling, walking, talking and speaking early. After struggling to potty train my son at home Kerrie was able to fully potty train him at 2.5 years old! Every year I see older children that Kerrie used to babysit bring her Mother’s Day cards and gifts. It’s because Kerrie treats our children like family. I love that our children play in fresh air and picnic outside in the summer instead of being stuck inside one room all day.  When I am at work missing my kids, Kerrie will text cute photos and video updates which always makes my day. My children return home happy and full of stories about their day. Kerrie is the absolute best!
 

There are not enough words to describe our experience with Kerrie. My son C started going there when he was 3 months old and stayed until he was 3! He had a wonderful loving caring environment with Kerrie and they formed a great bond.

Kerrie was absolutely God-sent. I have always had my mother watch my kids and finally I had to hire out and I was so nervous. I found Kerrie on care.com and we had our first "interview" over video chat and I instantly knew she was the right fit. I told my husband instantly after we hung up the phone "OMG I love her!" 

My kids instantly loved her. She would constantly send me pictures throughout the day, let me know about any BM or their daily activities. She treated them as her own. I'll never forget on my daughters birthday she had a little birthday for her with some other kids she was watching. They sang her happy birthday and let her blow out candles on a cupcake, and even sent her home with a birthday present. 

I adore Kerrie! If you're on the hunt look no further. The only reason I stopped using her daily was due to enrolling my kids in school, I still use her on weekends or whenever I can! Thank you Kerrie for everything! We love you!

I actually knew the moment I met Kerrie that I did not have to look any further- Kerrie is a natural, not in a trendy granola way, but in a true and real way, a natural mother and caregiver. Kerrie took care of our twins from 6 months to preschool and this review is long overdue (been busy) :). While my children were  with Kerrie I felt completely secure that they were well cared for -but far more than that they were being nurtured and were thriving. 

Kerrie has also taken great care of our family dog Lewis and two cats Pepper and Olive Kerrie is intuitive, always knows what to do and is a great communicator. A wonderful person, we are so lucky to have found Kerrie!

Kerrie is a great child care provider!   She is caring and dependable.  I felt very comfortable leaving my daughter with Kerrie and my daughter always had a fun day at Kerrie's.

I was lucky enough to meet Kerrie in 2013. I was returning back to work after having my first baby and needed to find a sitter.
The stars aligned and I was connected with Kerrie. From the second I met her I felt comfortable and knew my son would be in great care. She is loving and sweet. She taught him everything from letters and numbers to sign language and more. I knew that he wasn't just plopped in front of a TV all day.
6 years later, we are still using Kerrie to watch our 2nd and 3rd babies. My son, now in elementary school, looks forward to days off where he is able to have a "Miss Kerrie Day!" with his sisters. She is officially part of our family!

My daughter (and our family) love Miss Kerrie! She is great with our daughter and provides great play and activity throughout the day with lots of opportunity for growth and learning. We are very lucky to have her!

Kerrie is an amazing caregiver.  It was clear from the time we were in middle school that she was meant to have kids and take care of them.  
Kerrie began watching my son when he was just three months old.  As an executive I had no choice but to return to work within the few months after I had him.  
When I thought about who I would have take care of him there was no doubt that Kerrie would be the person I would ask.  Her girls were in school and she was working at the salon when I begged her to consider it.  Thankfully she agreed.  
New moms are often worried when leaving their infants with caregivers. I never feared leaving him and would return to pick him up finding him surrounded by Kerrie and her loving girls.  
Kerrie and her girls not only watched him on a daily basis but made him a part of their family.  Everyday they did something new, crafts, painting, potty training, letters, words, and ....    
It couldn't have been a greater experience for my son.  The bond he has with Kerrie and her girls is like no other.          
She is the ultimate mom and the only thing you should worry about is your child not wanting to leave :)
