Khadi became a daily caregiver for my husband Ken in 2010 until his death in February 2015. Ken was diagnosed in 2004 with dementia caused by previous strokes, and over 11 years progressively failed. When I hired Khadi through a private home care agency in 2010, Ken was still walking, but by the time of his passing, she got him in and out of bed a couple of times daily by electric lift. Khadi attended to all his needs--bathing, dressing, feeding, changing, giving meds, helping get him ready and accompany us to appointments by way of Metro Mobility. There wasn't any work I asked Khadi to help me with, that she didn't do, like washing clothes and house cleaning. I trusted her completely and she became a good friend to us. Ken would smile when he saw she was the employee to care for him. She was a great emotional support to me and we could talk about almost anything. She is caring, unselfish and responsible, treating people with respect. She remains a good friend. I am indebted to her.
