About Khalia

Caring for others is second nature to me. Growing up with 3 siblings and then working at my aunt's daycare when I was older only reinforced my love of working with children. I'm outgoing, punctual, and nurturing. I've been working in this field for 5 years and am comfortable caring for up to 4 children between the ages of 0-12. Since I'm a skilled swimmer, I would also love to teach children how to swim this summer! I also enjoy playing educational games, like puzzles, to promote healthy problem-solving skills. To communicate with parents, I typically write thank-you notes that include their child's progress and any questions or concerns I have. I follow the household rules set by the parents and discuss boundaries beforehand. I have a college degree, am CPR and First Aid certified, and am comfortable with pets. I hope to hear from you soon!
