My goal is to have a good relationship with the family. I enjoy interacting with kids and making sure that they feel loved while in my care. Watching kids grow and teaching them new things is a passion of mine. It is important to me to include some teaching time that is appropriate for the child/children I am caring for. In addition to cognitive time, I like to take the kids outside for play time. I have extensive history working with children, starting from my teenage years of volunteering at Brentwood Daycare and baby sitting for family and friends. I also worked in a daycare as an adult. Over the years, I have worked with newborns up to age 13. I am also a mom to a 1. 5-year-old kid, so I am very knowledgeable of that age group. I am also certified in CPR and Fundamentals in Infant and Toddler Care.

I've known Kiera since she was 4 years old. I attended the same church as her family. She was and still is a very nice and sweet young lady who always wanted to help me with my little ones. She has a cheerful personality and I can't think of a time when I saw her grumpy or rude to her parents or others, which is very rare, especially through the teenage years. From the interactions that I've had with her now, as a young adult, she is very respectful, hard-working, and determined to do well for herself. She comes from an extremely loving and supportive family which undoubtedly allows her to show extra kindness to others. Everyone in her family works hard at what they do, they excel at what they do, and they strive for perfection in everything.
