About Kierra

Hi! I'm Kierra, a warm and experienced preschool teacher with 4 years of experience with children ages 1 through 5 in a Reggio-inspired, child-led environment. I'm looking for a family interested in a 5 day aweek, 4 hour preschool-style childcare experience, where I can bring my very verbal, bright, and curious 2. 5-year-old daughter as my little sidekick. A consistent playmate can foster communication, cooperation, confidence, and social-emotional development for both children so it's a win win. Our days will include child-led play, sensory activities, art, crafts, imaginative play, and hands-on exploration. We'll naturally learn ABCs, colors, shapes, early numbers, and problem-solving through the children's interests and discoveries. My goal is to create a nurturing, creative environment where children feel safe, capable, curious, and excited to learn!
