About Kimberly

Hi I'm Kim! Working with children is a lifelong passion for me and I am looking forward to getting to know you and your family! Some fun facts about me are that I love to travel, reading and to paint! My experience with children started when I was young, I would babysit all my younger cousins and volunteer for the nursery at my church. When I was a little bit older I started helping out in my moms kindergarten classroom and I would typically work one on one to help with schoolwork! I went to Appalachian state for a degree in elementary education and did several internships at local schools through that program and even substituted for grades k-8 for about a year and a half. When covid started I began nannying for one of my professors and another family and split my time between them, in total I was caring for 6 children ages 2-11. I stayed with those families for just under 2 years before leaving Boone, NC! *profile pictures are of my cousins and are used with parent permission
