While I was an educator for 17 years in the NYC Department of Education, my focus for 13 years at a prestigious high school was AP World Modern. I not only brought this course to the school in 2011 but was also the lead teacher before I left teaching in June. While my time in the classroom is over, my passion for this subject continues. The majority of my former students received scores of 3-5 on their exams, with most receiving 4s and 5s. This is a statistic I am extremely proud of. Most importantly, my students always told me that I helped them learn to think, study, and become successful students.
