About Kimberly

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, energetic, and busy. I like working with kids because I love engaging with them on their level and watching them develop and grow. Each child is so unique and I enjoy getting to know them as individuals. I find working with kids of all ages to be a rewarding experience and am continually learn something new from each of them. I'm currently looking for a job with any age group that isn't full time. I'd prefer to do occasional or temporary jobs for now and fill in when needed. I became a nanny in 1992 when I was 22 years of age. I was hired over the phone and began my career in Larchmont, New York as a live in nanny. In my spare time, I can be found playing volleyball whether at the beach, on grass, or indoors. Reading runs a close second. I'd have to say my top child care skill is patience, whether it's waiting for them, resolving a conflict, or helping them through a meltdown. My other top skills are communication and compassion.
