I spent the beginning of my adulthood working as a registered nurse, with the majority of my 20-year nursing career spent caring for senior citizens in various settings such as home care, hospice, and skilled nursing. About 15 years ago I left the nursing field due to some health concerns. But I missed working with people and have since found fulfillment working with seniors, adults, and children alike. I am a caregiver at heart. I get along well with others because I honor and treat them with the dignity and respect they deserve. Kim has gone above and beyond with our mom. She is experienced, kind, compassionate, and has an incredible work ethic. She is always at her best and treats the person and family she is working with love and respect. She quickly became one of the family and found her way into my mom's heart. Mom was so resistant against help but Kim melted every piece of that resistance away. The only reason she is not with mom now if that we had to find live in care. Kim offered to come visit mom as a friend even though she lives 1/2 hour away. Kim we miss you!
