About Kimberly

I spent 2 years as a preferred substitute teacher fulfilling assignments for permanent teachers and reading specialists in grades K-5 at 7 district schools in Hinsdale District 181 (US government recognized Blue Ribbon School District). Once my youngest went off to college I was asked to join the district Full-Time where I spent 6 months in 2 different ECE classrooms and 6 months in a 2nd Grade classroom. In 2nd Grade I was a member of special education team (OT, Speech, Behavior, Academic Resource) responsible for developing and administering IEP (Individual Education Plan) goals for students, as well as assisting classroom teacher with overall academic curriculum. I loved my work! I left my position recently when I relocated to my new home in Palm Beach Gardens FL. My coworkers described me as he calming force in the room. My greatest joy was building relationships with my students. When children feel safe, anything can be accomplished!
