About Kimberly

Kim is nothing short of amazing in every way. We originally hired her to take care of our 3-year-old son. She went above and beyond to connect with him, even bringing library books of all his favorite things on the first day with us. I was impressed by her calm and sensitive nature, and her innate ability to get right down on his level and engage with him so earnestly. He loved the way she played with him and brought out his curiosity and inquisitiveness and instantly bonded. She took initiative and checked out free passes from the library to take him on educational outings like the Children’s Museum, the Zoo, splash pad, and numerous parks. Kim even brought materials to make a dinosaur diorama. She always provided the highest level of care with safety, sunscreen, ensuring he ate well, rested when needed, read him books, and talked to him quietly to help him wind down and rest when needed. Kim is highly organized and kept our home clean and always left it in better condition than when she arrived. She is always on time or early, and dependable. Kim also is a remarkable photographer and captured truly unique pictures of our son that are framed in our home. Once school started, our family had an emergent crisis where my grandparent’s needed in-home care. My first thought was to ask Kim since I trusted her impeccably. Even though her experience is geared toward nannying, she took on this role to help our family. This is when my feelings for this woman grew from respect to love. She was thoughtful, attentive, and went out of her way to research things to help the healing process. She bathed my grandma, and treated her wounds with gentleness and care. Kim treated my family like her own - cooking special meals, cleaned and organized their home, and walked their dog. A dog that does not like strangers but simply decided Kim did not fall into that category on day 1 and treats her like an extended member of our family. When my grandmother went to rehab to assist her with a broken arm, Kim stayed with my 99-year-old grandfather and brought him to visit my grandma at the rehab. She listened to my grandpa’s stories and he was so grateful for the company and help while my grandma was gone. Kim took on a caregiving role but gave so much more. She is like family to me now. She has my highest regard and I feel that anyone would be fortunate to have them care for their family members in need.
