About Kim

I am a career professional who shifted priorities since I was a caregiver for my parent and continue to be legal guardian for another family member. I am person-centered and approach care duties with an organized method, pragmatism, integrity and empathy. The human bond is key to our feeling loved and cared about. This also includes our companion animals. I have done both child and adult caregiving. When I watched children, I characterized myself as the "interactive sitter" and really got involved in the child's world of curiosity, play, and fun. It was rewarding to impart wisdom to young minds while keeping good judgment, responsibility and safety in the forefront. When I cared for an elderly client, I re-engaged her with meals from scratch for her to feel the joy of cooking as she'd done for her family. I pet sit for dogs, cats and a turtle while tending to his 40 gallon aquarium.
