About Kim

I am going through a career change as I have found that I really relate to older people and would love to care for them in their homes. I have a BS in sociology and graduated from Georgetown's paralegal program. I am currently working on a second graduate degree in special education from UVA, but have no plans to return to the classroom. I am focused on helping seniors live at home in a safe, nurturing environment. I have 10 years classroom experience as a TA caring for students with profound medical disabilities that required G-tube feedings, G-tube medicine administration, catheterizing, Diastat administration, diapering, toileting, feeding, and overall monitoring. To better serve my students, I completed courses through GMU to be a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. As a result, I bring a ton of valuable experience caring for others in addition to formal training. I am really excited about new opportunities and look forward to meeting you, so that we can talk more!
