About Kira

I am a graduate of Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Therapy, and a graduate of The Boston Conservatory with a master's degree in Musical Theatre. I recently moved back home to NYC from Boston where I was performing and nannying for a wonderful family of 3 children whom I helped care for over the past 5+ years. In my music therapy work, I have worked in group settings of children 4 months to 21 years old, with varying levels of medical, learning and social/behavioral needs. I absolutely adore children and am a very dynamic, caring, responsible and creative individual. I am an avid crafter and I play the guitar, ukulele, piano and have lots of percussion instruments, for endless amounts of artistic fun! If your kids love to be creative, we may be an excellent fit. I do not currently own a car, but I have a license with a clean driving record. I am not currently CPR certified, but I have been in the past and plan on renewing my certification.
