About Kirsten

I am a certified teacher looking to provide enrichment/extra support. I will be available late afternoons/evenings so am looking to provide check ins/review/homework help with students after their virtual or in person learning that day. I can assess for understanding, help with projects or independent work, and ensure your child is organized and on task. My specialty is literacy but can provide quality instruction in all elementary subjects and most secondary. I can tailor my services to meet your child's specific needs whether they simply need help completing their school's virtual curriculum or need more robust instruction. I have experience with guided reading groups, data driven progress monitoring, lesson planning, and positive behavior management to cultivate an optimal but relaxed and fun learning environment. I am open to in person as well as virtual meetings.
