About Kristan

Hi! My name is Kristan and I have a genuine passion for working with children that spans over 15 years. I spent 8 years owning and operating a Kumon Learning Center where I worked directly with children ages 3-18 from diverse backgrounds and academic levels. Before that I served as Chief Assistant at another Kumon center for 7 years, supporting families, training staff, and creating a warm and structured environment where children thrived. I am patient, nurturing, organized, and dependable. I understand that inviting someone into your home to care for your children is a significant decision and I don't take that trust lightly. My background working closely with hundreds of families over the years has made me highly attuned to children's individual needs and communication styles. I am currently available for part time early morning or afternoon positions and am looking for the right family to serve consistently.
