I am married and have one adult son. Beautiful Galveston Island is my home. 
I am a retired Elementary School teacher. Teaching all levels of elementary age children from the average to the gifted and talented was very rewarding to me. I have tutored children through the years and have cared for many families with infants from newborns, toddlers to older children. I love working with babies and children and helping them learn new things as they develop and grow. 
Some of my other hobbies include arts and crafts, baking, shopping, running errands and traveling. 
I am extremely clean, organized, dependable, friendly, happy, perceptive, caring, and an understanding Mom with a lot of energy.

Kristi was truly amazing! We hired her to care for our 3 month baby for a week. She was punctual and dependable. But what amazed even more is how much love she showed our baby! She played and sang to him all day. His diaper was always clean and his bottle on time. She even helped around the house by doing dishes and cleaning bottles. She was just wonderful and we would definitely hire her again! 

Kriste has been such an amazing asset for my family. My kids love her and are always excited to have her come watch them. She brings them a little gift each time and is caring and attentive. I have full confidence everytime I leave them in her care that they will be well taken care of. She gives me updates throughout the visit and she's just so pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

We hired Ms. Kriste through to watch our three children for a couple of days while we were in town for meetings, and we could not have been more grateful for her. We are incredibly careful and selective about who we leave our children with, and Ms. Kriste immediately gave us peace of mind.

Kriste went out of her way to make us comfortable and worked with us to help during a family event with several out of town kids. She was flexible and knowledgable and kept in contact throughout the evening so everyone had a great evening.

Kriste is a fantastic babysitter. We loved her so much that we have used her two years in a row when we vacation in Galveston, and we hope to be able to have Kriste babysit for us again next summer. 

Kriste has a calm demeanor, and she is so kind and patient with the children. This past summer, Kriste watched five children, with ages ranging from 1-3. We fully trust Kriste, and all of the kids love her!

Kriste was absolutely wonderful! She was a lifesaver with my two boys while my husband was away for work for several weeks. She was instrumental in helping me navigate the logistics of carpool, medical appointments, and after school sports. Kriste was punctual, attentive, and engaged. Kriste has gone above and beyond in caring for our son. She brings her background as a retired teacher to the job, and is always reading and doing fun hands on activities with him, as well as making his meals, feeding him, putting him to sleep. She was great with him as an infant. She is always very productive and used the time he was asleep to wash dishes, and even did and folded the laundry. We can count on her 100% and have never had an issue where she was late or unexpectedly unavailable. Would definitely highly recommend Kriste for any child care position

We hired Kriste to watch our two boys, 8 & 6, over a couple of days while we attended a conference in Galveston.  We spoke on the phone a few days before and after our talk I was very confident that my boys would be in good hands.  Meeting her and watching her immediately engage with the boys only reinforced our good feelings about her.  
She brought little gifts and snacks that they immediately loved.  You can tell Kriste really enjoys children.  She is reliable, engaging and kind.  She took them to the playground at the resort and even found a secret exhibit in the hotel with an alligator.  The boys really enjoyed their time with her and even asked about seeing her again, which is very sweet.
Kriste is also a wealth of information about the island.  She has interesting hurricane stories and gave us several recommendations on places that we really enjoyed.  We feel very fortunate that Kriste was available when we were in Galveston.  We wholeheartedly recommend her.

Kriste watched our 3 year old for a long Saturday morning while we worked on our house. She is amazing! She took great care of our little one and he had so much fun. She sent lots of pictures with updates which gave me great reassurance. He was so comfortable with Ms. Kriste that he wanted to take a nap at her place! We will definitely hire Ms. Kriste again.

Kristie did a great job with our two young boys when we visited Galveston for the 4th of July holiday. She was very sweet and brought little snacks and sticker books for the kids which she asked me permission to do first. They got along great and she was able to get them to bed without any issues for two nights. We hope to hire her again when we return to visit Galveston!

Kristie has been godsend to us. We recently relocated and she's given our daughter stimulation and stability. She is engaging, patient and takes a balanced approach to teaching and having fun.
