About Kristen

Hello, my name is Kristen and I am a kindergarten teacher. This is my fourth year in my own classroom although I have been assisting in classrooms for a little over eight years. I have experience tutoring students in math and reading from kindergarten through 5th grade. I have taught children with and without special needs and am comfortable with a variety of learning needs. I have a masters degree in being a Reading Specialist and have a passion for sparking a love of reading in all of my students. While reading is my passion, math also has a special place in my heart and I have tutored in math/ have much experience with the Common Core methods of teaching addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. I am looking to make some extra money after my regular school day and in the summer. I hope to speak with you soon!
