Kristen is amazing. I - truly - cannot say enough positive things about her. Kristen was our full time nanny this summer on the Cape for my 3- and 1- year olds. My 3-year old can be a tough critic (as most probably are, hah), and is very attached to our school and nanny at home. I expected a real adjustment / learning curve and was shocked when there was…none. My 3-year old immediately fell in love with Kristen, who is the perfect mix of on-the-floor-with-the-kids play mate + true teacher / educator, in a completely integrated way. After the first week, unprompted, my 3-year old asked if we would see Kristen again on Monday and told me “Mommy I really like Kristen”. This is high praise from my 3 year old! And, simultaneously, Kristen took incredible care of my 1 year old, who was learning to walk, crawling incredibly fast, and pretty hard to keep up with / keep from injury. Kristen was right there intercepting every fall, inspiring endless giggles, and they have developed an amazing bond as well. She created a fabulous summer for both kids, with trips to the library, beach, swim class, playgrounds, and tons of activities around the house and neighborhood as well. She is a natural with kids and I felt incredibly safe and comfortable when she was with mine - and I knew they were having fun and learning. Finally, I’d be remiss not to mention how much Kristen has taken care of me this summer! I’ve been working full days remotely and often have meetings straight through the day. From texting me at 2 pm to ask if I needed food, to helping with dinner prep so I could get a precious 30 min with my kids before dinner, she has become a core part of our family wellbeing this summer! We will miss her immensely when we return home for the school year, and can’t recommend her highly enough....you will be THRILLED to have Kristen as part of your family's life!!!
